This contest is the chance of a lifetime for a poet. What you win is more than simply publication of your work. You win the chance to give your words their best, most beautiful home. I’m a bookseller as well as a poet, and it was my dream to publish a book that I would be proud to stock in my store — a book that was as satisfying an object to hold in my hands as the poems inside were satisfying to write. Raven Chapbooks fulfilled that dream.

Zoe Dickinson, winner of the 2022 Raven Chapbooks contest
